Take a ride through the colonial district to visit the famous Notre Dame Saigon, Central Post Office, Opera House and the City Hall. Enjoy the scenic view from the rooftop garden of Rex hotel – The Five O’clock Follies. Continue your journey with the walk-through to Tao Dan park to enter the Presidential Palace, formerly known as the White House of South Vietnam. Visit the basement system where statistics never lied about the Vietnam war before 1975.
Back to your pedicab, continue with the visit of War Remnants museum – a must see while you are in Saigon. Visit the venerable statue of Thich Quang Duc, a buddhist monk self-immolted to protest President Diem about the religious freedom. Explore the local wet market then stop by the secret weapon bunker of Mr. Lai in the old French quarter of district 3.
