Itinerary

Let the adventure begin! Depart the hotel at 7:00 on private air-conditioned vehicle with a professional tourguide escort. Take a panoramic drive passing Saigon historic colonial sites: former US Embassy, Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, General Westmoreland residence, MAAG headquarter. Drive through peaceful countryside of Cu Chi, visit a local rice paper house and rubber plantations along the way to Cu Chi tunnels, Ben Dinh. Start your biking tour through the rubber tree plantations with small little hidden dirt roads, passing local countryside houses, ponds and farms.

Upon arrival at the tunnels, start with a short trekking through the jungle, once used to be a free fire zone. Watch the movie, get explained on the map and then visit B52 bomb craters, secret entrance, air ventilation, fighting trench…Delve in the deepest level of 12 metres underground, not a must. Visit the smoke-less Hoang Cam kitchen, taste local steamed tapioca and drink local tea. Transfer to a riverside restaurant on your private vehicle or on your MTB bike. Lunch with chef’s selected set menu before driving back to your hotel.

Optional:
The journey will be enhanced with a local veteran’s escort throughout the tour, Uncle Nam Chia, who began his guerrilla life since he was 14 years old. There’s extra charge per guest for this enhancement.
